I think people are too embarrassed to tell you that the pedal rattle is probably terminal and that 'Blondie' is ready for the knacker's yard.
I could make you a one-off offer for a trade with my Sho-Bud - obvs with a cash adjustment on your side. (Unless you wanted to throw in the Fender Twin instead.)
You'd need to deliver it as well...
