Thanks Gary, I was trying to see how you were putting it together, i.e. what pedals/levers you were using. Sort of sussed that you had the E's on your right leg. This is similar to my original copedent until I changed it to extended E9, still got the E's on my right leg.
Nice steel, sounds good and looks good.

It is indeed a very beautiful steel...to my eyes the most beautiful steels out there...sounds good too. If only Zara made steels, it would probably work out a bit cheaper than the Williams.

I recently discovered an old thread from 2009 on the US site going into more depth on the 'Black steels sound better' theory. I was initially searching for how different players eq their amps to achieve their tone, this thread popped up in the results and I have been enjoying reading it. Some interesting points and some well known steelers contributing, including someone from this forum you know well. Working my way through it, it's about 23 pages long.
