This is a slide show of a walk myself, Janice, (my wife), and youngest son Rowan discovered last year near the town of Alva in Clackmannanshire in Scotland. It was a lovely walk with scenic views, interesting wildlife and a cave known locally as smugglers cave. We all took pictures and Janice put together a slide show video using a mixture of our pictures. I wrote the backing music a few years ago which features Pedal Steel Guitar and an Acoustic Double Bass. I did some additional work on it to use with this video. Best watched on a big screen, it's recorded in 4k.
Some info re the location.
Alva
Alva is a small town in Clackmannanshire, set in the Central Lowlands of Scotland. It is one of a number of towns situated immediately to the south of the Ochil Hills, collectively referred to as the Hillfoots Villages or simply The Hillfoots. It is located between Tillicoultry and Menstrie.
Alva Glen
The Alva Glen is a steep-sided cleft scored in the southern front of the Ochils range. This short walk up it follows a dramatic path, easy at first, which climbs up into this ravine. The upper part involves a steep ascent with precipitous slopes and ends at a viewpoint overlooking the Smuggler's Cave in the floor of the gorge.

Well done Geoff and Janice, a very enjoyable watch, superb scenery and backing track that compliments the photos. You are right about watching it on a large screen, I casted it on to the tv.
Lovely part of the world!
Thanks Geoff for posting.

Thanks Roy. It's the first one that Janice has put together. She's been learning how to use the programs to do this and will be doing more. It's giving us something we can enjoy doing together, plus it gives me more time to play music
Just need to get the drone up and running, been a bit cold, rainy and windy, so difficult to get out there. Might give it a go today.

Hi Geoff, I liked that, for me it brought back memories, as a boy I used to cycle there during the school summer holidays. In those days there was very little traffic on the country roads, people wouldn't let their kids do it now.

Thanks Billy. I know what you mean, I remember cycling from Glenrothes to Dundee and back with a friend. We would be around 13-14 mid 60's. Roads were quiet as you say. It was a hot day and we had drunk all our bottles of shandy,

, so we knocked on a farm cottage door and asked if we could get a drink of water. The woman there asked us to come in as they were just having lunch and would we like some? We were treated to a bowl of home made soup with a big chunk of bread. Can't see that sort of thing happening these days.
Yes, Alva Glen is a great walk
