Over the years I have lamented the sale of my beautiful little Sho-Bud Maverick. What an idiot to sell it. Wanted a more professional model and don't really like what I ended up with. I am sure other steelies used to snigger when I unpacked this from the case. But yesterday I found an old tape with a recording on it using my Maverick. Must have been done in the early 90's. Listen to that horrible midi drum. Still love that sound and was so easy to play. Anyway, that is not the reason I am posting. What the hell is the name of the tune. I thought it was Dixie Drivin' but apparently its not.

A good rendition by Dave as always.
No Jim. That was Appledale Ride by Al Briscoe. Mine I think was recorded by Lloyd Green. Dessa would know as he played it at the last Dave Hartley seminar a few years back.

Hi Mick nice tune, well played,as far as you playing your old Maverick, there ain't nothing wrong with that tone Sir. I played my old Emmons Black Rock for 30+ years with three pedals and two levers and it was a very busy guitar.
It's not what you have, it's what you do with what you have
There I've said it
