Not only is Tommy an incredible steel player, but he's a great 6 string guitarist too. I think Tommy's tone with a Show Pro was his best of all.

When you've only got 14 seconds to play with I guess you have to get it right. Maybe he could have had an extra 2 if LR hadn't felt it necessary to announce the solo.
I guess steel players have to be thankful for small mercies...and I mean small.
I recall Paul Franklin making a big hoo on the US Forum a while about Tommy playing with Lady Gaga...on that occasion, you could barely hear him at all in the mix, and you certainly didn't get to actually see him (Heaven forbid!!).
Ever felt marginalised?
