Hi y'all,
I finally decided to do something different than Country, Jazz or blues and just play something I always wanted to do. The song is called For the Love of God from Steve Vai. I'm surely going to record this song in the future and cover it on a future CD.
For now just a quick recording with my phone and time to spent a lot of practicing on this song:
Hope you guys appreciate also something out-of-the-box playing.
Best regards,
Mathew Jut

Certainly a departure from your usual style, Mathew. Very nice control of a guitar that's on the verge of feedback. Fantastic, it's good to mix it up.

Well played Mathew. Could do with the backing a bit louder in the mix to give context to the steel work, but nice anyway

That’s very tasty Mathew. It shows how varied your playing is.

Mathew, this is great! You have done a fantastic job of getting Steve Vai's string bends and vibrato sounding just right on pedal steel - something which I would expect to be a whole lot more difficult in reality than it first seems. Great work, and thanks for sharing with us!

Hey Matthew, what distortion pedal are you using?

Very nicely done, Mathew. The articulation, the phrasing - the whole thing is very close to Steve Vai's playing. I remember attempting this one on guitar in my 'shredder' days as a teenager! Tonally it's an interesting one, I'd love to hear what you come up with for the solo section.
