Here's a track that myself and a few friends are working on at the moment in our monthly jam which features Greg Leisz on pedal steel, it also features the wonderful voices of Alison Krauss and Robert Plant. The song was originally written and performed by Gene Clarke, one of the founding members of The Byrds.
Greg Leisz seems to be cropping up on a lot of albums at the moment, he has a very minimalist style which I like.

Yes sir, a great track, Geoff. He's a really tasty player. If you haven't already, you should check out Buddy Miller's Majestic Silver Strings. I know you'd enjoy it.

I really enjoy Greg Leisz' playing. He's all over Bill Frisell's stuff and they complement each other so well, the 'Guitar in the Space Age' album in particular is fantastic. His work on the latest Springsteen album is really nice too - subtle and atmospheric, he enhances the arrangements perfectly.

I'll check these out Johnny.
Here's another track I like with him playing with Charles Lloyd and the Marvels with Lucinda Williams on vocals.

That is a really nice one, Geoff. It looks like he's on all of Lucinda Williams' stuff, his playing really suits that type of expansive americana music.
