There are some significant players there Danny, and they all look on admiringly when Buddy starts playing. For the last 2 or 3 years I have been trying to find the source of this video to see if there are other recordings from the same day. Buddy declared a number of times to various publications that the Sierra had the best C6 tone of any guitar that he had played.

Fab video Danny and ace tone on the Sierra they are outstanding in the low ground,, Joe Wright is testament to that!

I like Ken hunted in vein for more videos from the same source but nae luck! ,, the only other session vid I'm aware of is this one.

The JCH is derived from Jimmy Crawford & John Hughey

"I had always been fascinated by the mechanics of pedal steels," Jimmy says. So along with his good friend, John Hughey, they began producing JCH pedal steels in 1981. But, performing and sessions constantly took them away from building, so much so that they stopped in 1993. But that building urge caught up with Jimmy again, and he recently teamed with Russell Parks and is again back building (CP pedal steels). Touring still keeps Jimmy busy. He is currently with Radney Foster, a fine vocalist and performer.

An agonising lifetime, they say to kill or cure!
I trust that it won't kill us.. would be a shame for sure!
But there's nothing matches PSG... for musical allure!

I think that lad on the dobro in Video 1 has a future if he sticks at it.

All the soloists are fantastic - and then BE comes in - great musical invention, exemplary execution. And it looks effortless!
