OK First up is our very own Danny Mitchell playing backing on this months chosen song - Almost Like A Song. Considering that Danny's GFI has been sitting under his bed for the best part of a year and he took it out, re-strung it and put this together in a couple of days, it is a tribute to Danny's talents how good this is.

you were doing backup to keep it interesting! I must try a year of that ‘under the bed practice’ myself...
And someone has to point out- I think he may have used a fuzz box in the solo!

Danny strikes again, well done serf Danny. I have tried wading through the swamp of technology and I have drowned. I dont have a :censored:

clue how to even get involved in this and it makes me feel quite inadequate. I'm going to have to sit in my wee shed and play with myself. :roll:

Well that's put a picture into my head I think will need a lot of mind gel to scrub out. Think it's going to have to be 3 to 4 verses of happy birthday to tackle that one Donny :shock:

You'll just need to upgrade that Nokia to one of these new fangled modern devices. Would be great to have you involved. :guitar:

Okay Dokey. Here is my version of Almost Like a Song, though in my case it should probably be titled Almost a Song. I could have taken a bit longer over it but I'm still pretty exhausted after my recent spell of illness, so decided just to go for it.

I stuck some 6 string guitar on the backing track to give my new Spear LP, which I bought at the auction Arcada highlighted recently, an airing.
