I was checking emails on the iPad at the Grand Canyon hotel one morning (last Thursday) at 4:30am (Phoenix time) when he texted me and asked me if I was up for a bluegrass pick at my local pub in the UK on Saturday. I told him where I was, what time it was, and that I was considering getting in the car at 5am on my own to the GC rim to see the sunrise. His reply was.."Life is not a dress rehearsal, do it"
