If You were to renew every string on every instrument(steels and others) You own, How many strings would You need?
I would need 69 strings for 10 instruments.
I bet there are a few guys who would need a hundred or more.
Best regards
Billy

Well over 200 for me Billy. 275 to be precise (the odd number is caused by my 5 string banjo)

I have over 100 sets of my favourite Cobra Coil pedal steel strings. I also buy my guitar strings in bulk and have 200 sets or more.

Aha, a string thread! Does a cheese board count as I use an unwound 17 as a fine cheese cutter?

1x D10, 1xS10 = 30
1 Guitar = 6
1 Dobro = 6
1 lap steel = 6
= 48

O.K., grand total (excluding cheese board) is 65. Makes you wonder how much of our lives we spend changing strings. Thanks for starting this off Billy-what on earth made you think of it? Cheers, Andy.
