TOP TEN?

I would like as many members as possible to name me Steel players they consider to be among the "Top Ten " steel players in the world. I am talking about living active Steel players. This is no disrespect to any Steel player that has passed. My all time favourites are Jimmy Day and Weldon Myrick, but I am, as I say, referring to living active steel players. My own personal favourites among the Top ten are, Tommy white, Mike Johnson, Lloyd Green, Buddy Emmons and yes Pete Haywood who I consider (even though not active on the country scene) is still as far as I am concerned every bit as good as the other guys I have mentioned.
I do have a particular reason for asking this question and I hope as many of you as possible will reply. I shall in due course tell you the reason for this question.
Thanks Dave.

Wow, Mike Johnson isn't getting much press here, he's a superb musician. Let's mention Gary Carter too.

A ‘top ten’ list maybe going off track here but others to add are
Larry Sasser and not yet mentioned Joe Wright, all great players as are a number of our own guys here, dare I open that can!! In no particular order! Derek, Ken, David, Mark, Richard, Baz and, and, then we have Ireland and Europe, there could be another list!
Sorry Ron, I guess we were on the same wave length, there's a surprise eh!
