The British Steelies Society

Does anyone know who the steel player is that used to play at a pub called "The Brown Cow" in Helsby every Saturday night in the mid 60's. If I remember rightly it was a red and blonde twin neck like a console job, possibly home made which I wondered if it may have been Ronnie Bennett but I don't know if he ever played Hawiiaan. Anyway if anyone went there and remembers who it was I'd love to find out. Cheers Dave.
