The song , the singer, but what about the steel player? Yes Mike Johnson, absolutely bone shattering, just look at the expression on Jimmy Capps face toward the end of the break. That tells the truth, Just amazing. ENJOY THIS.

Excellence all round. I tried to describe Mike's tone in my Nashville thread, but it's not until you see and hear a clip like this that you realise just what a player and tone monster he is. I was so fortunate to have a whole evening of that at the Station Inn, and I sat about 4 feet from him. Jimmy Capps, a resident band member at the Opry, is a hardened session musician and is not easily moved to emotion. Mike Johnson is the band leader on these Family Reunion recordings (I have over 20 of the DVDs), and is proud of the line up that he has put together for those recordings. Hank Singer the fiddle player was at Dallas last year and was great.

John - saw your demo of the Mike Johnson move, went to get some tab paper to tab it out (memory like a seive - must be age!) - and there it was, gone!
I know it started 4+5 A+F, went up 1 fret to A+B... then my senior moment trips in and I can't remember the rest. Can you fill me in with the rest?
