Went over to the Crown pub in Leytonstone wed.evening and saw Bob Collum and The Wellfare Mothers with our fellow member Alan Kelly on Pedal Steel. Some very tight playing from Alan and the steel cut through nicely on the solos and lifts. Nice to see our Henry from Brixton there too, that was a nice surprise. The venue is called 'What's Cooking' and is very well run and often has Pedal steel in the bands. Nice to see you Alan,I will try to do the same when your next gig is local, ==== Baz. 8-)

good to see you both Baz and Allan :) some mean sounding pedal steel from Allan and also from Vic Collins who was playing steel with The Ugly Guys..

What's Cooking is definitely worth a look but they're not doing any in August.. listing here http://www.whatscookin.co.uk/wcwhatson.html

Thanks guys for coming and for your kind words, t'was an enjoyable night.
Great to hear Vic Collins play, his ShoBud sure sounded sweet.
What's Cookin has been a favourite of mine for some years, now back at the Crown (Sheepwalk) I think this venue is back at it's spiritual home.
