Me for one , thats why Bob Adams now has Gordon's blue ZBD-10 and I have the D-10 conversion to a SD-10
he did from John Roache's. The reason being that the "music" we have to play I'm lucky to play the E9th without
the complication of the C6th. Who knows, perhaps things might change, I might win the lottery !
All the best

It look impressive though, a drummer said to me not too long ago, while talking about another steel player he knew, 'he has got a much better steel guitar than you, it has twin necks', even though i knew the steelie in question only ever played the front neck, i just smiled, knowingly, one steel i did see in nashville though, about 18 months ago, was a keyless G.F.I. twin neck,in a striking gold finish, which really appealed to me, one neck was E9, the other was a 6 string neck connected to the goodrich dobro simulator, presumably not connected to pedals, now if i was ever having a steel specially made for me, thats the concept i would go with.
I think im right in saying, there wouldn't be an abundance of jazz and western swing steel players this side of the atlantic, to which the C6 neck lends itself to, I can think of a few, but not many, certainly not me,

I have a beautiful Zum D10 and only use the front neck.
This guitar is My home guitar.
I have another Zum SD 10 which I gig with.
I have tried several times to learn the back neck but I will be first to admit I have a mental block.I wonder if Hypnotism would help

i did'nt buy a D10 w: the sole intention of using C6 as an armrest
even tho' i don't master it, i really dig it because of it's deep colorfull sound & them hip chords it produces
i'd be wary of hypnosis Billy cause you don't really know what they'll do to you aside from takin' yer £££
may i suggest a kick in the butt & that'll be for free
Love ya & leave ya' Jock !

Crowbear,
I did go for Hypnotism and it helped Me stop smoking.
I returned for another blast and now every time I look in the mirror I see a handsome thirty Year old Adonis smiling back at Me.
Thanks for replying.
