Hi all,
Hopefully someone can help me with this

I have a Remington steel that i bought a few years ago, one of the rods underneath has always been a bit iffy and 'loose' causing some tuning issues with my B pedal, does anyone know of anyone that could look at it for me?? I live in Leicestershire so preferably in the Midlands so i don't have to drive too far!
Thanks in advance
Darren

Hi Darren,
Can you post pictures of your guitar?
Top, changer end and underside?
I don't think it's going to be much to sort out.
It's usually the half lowers and split turnings that may stray a bit, but a simple raise on your G# to A wont be much, if that's what you B pedal does of course.
I don't think I have seen a pedal Remington before, just non pedal Remmys so I am interested to see pictures, if possible.

Thanks for the help guys, Dave has pm'd me his contact number so il call him in the week. its the 6th string i have a problem with, when i turn it it gets just to the point of being in tune and then the rods clunks and spins, then its about a semi tone sharp, drives me mad! I've uploaded some pics of the steel too, i've scanned all over the net and i cant see any other Remington steels anywhere. I bought it from Keith Buck about 4 years ago now.
Thanks again
Darren
