Chris Hillman with Gabriel Minnikin & The Fast Country

[SteelieAJK]

I went to a Sunday early evening gig yesterday,Come Down & Meet The Folks @ The AppleTree WC1 mainly to catch up with some songwriters I knew who were appearing, and chanced upon the main band Gabriel Minnikin & The Fast Country down from Manchester. They played a real enjoyable country-rock-esque set with some very cool tasteful steel playing by Chris Hillman on his Excel 12 Universal. Great gig.
