Both myself and Breda had a very enjoyable night in Westport, County Mayo, at the Georgette Jones Concert on tuesday 27th March in the Westport Woods Hotel, I had a bit of a chat with Jamie prior to the Concert, and we agreed to meet up after for a drink and a chat, the Concert was very enjoyable, with Jamie getting a great sound from his new Franklin s10, going through a Peavey Nashville 112, Later, the four of us met up in the bar, and talked way into the wee small hours, both Georgette and Jamie are two of the nicest most down to earth people you could meet, and while Jamie and me talked about all things steel, the two girls both talked about their Nursing backgrounds, they are both singers as well, so plenty in common, and yes, i not only had Jamie drinking pints of Guinness, i also had Georgette drinking several pints, yes pints, of the black stuff too, Jamie tells me he is working with Brent Mason when he returns to Nashville, thanks guys for a great night

pic of Jamie and myself before the Concert, I live in a small rural villagein County Sligo, around 150 people, and one of those inhabitants is a very talented guitar vocalist, Chris Stapleton, who moved to the village a few years ago from Birmingham, where he regulary gigged with a young steel guitarist, that steel guitarist just happened to be, Jamie Lennon,now isn't it a small world?

Eddie, never got to meet Jamie but used to see his old LDG sitting in the back of the Ceol Castle Birmingham when we plaved there a few times, was a nice guitar.
