The British Steelies Society

I just spent a very interesting and enjoyable evening with Terry Crisp, (Ricky Scaggs Band) Bruce Bouton, (Reba McEntire Band) Ricky Scaggs, and Kyle Everson (Lonestar Band) I had arranged to meet Bruce at his hotel in Belfast, and as I was waiting in the lobby along comes Ricky Scaggs, who was staying at the same hotel. I introduced myself and we chatted for about 10 minutes untill Bruce arrived. We then headed across the road to the world famous "Crown Bar" Standing outside the bar was Terry Crisp and Kyle Everson (having a smoke) They are all here for the International Festival of Country Music .
Heard some wonderfull stories about the Nashville scene. Looking forward to the venue on Wed night, with complimentry tickets of course!

You were certainly in good company there Ted. I'd love to be going to that festival. For me Ricky is the king - the other acts on the bill don't interest me.

Any chance of getting Terry Crisp over for the Steel Festival? He's a fantastic player.
