Hearing today the Bob Lee has passed on. What a terrible blow to the Steel Guitar community. For decades Bob ran The Steel Guitar Forum, the greatest repository of Steel guitar technique and history in the world. His presence will be greatly missed bytes all of us who depended on his sage advice.

Another great shock and very sad, Bobby Lee was a champion for the steel fraternity.

This is really very sad news.
It reminds me how much I have valued the US forum and this one over the years. I’m going to try to contribute more rather than being too much of a passive reader. It’s important I think.

I like a lot of other steel players have visited Bobs site for years as it was always a good source of information and ideas. RIP Bob. Your work will continue.
