When I was working in Bury St Edmunds I used to go for a stroll round the town and there on occasions would be buskers playing in various spots. On a couple of occasions there was a western swing type band who I think came from the Cambridge area. The first time I first saw them they had a steel player using a single neck Sho-Bud 6139 tuned to C6 and had 5 pedals. The band created an exciting sound and could have listened to them all day. I did not get a chance to speak so never got to know who the steel player was.
Anyone have any ideas?
