Great programme on Radio 4 this morning about the Proclaimers song 'Sunshine On Leith and what it means to people. It's a wonderful piece of music and also has our very own Gerry Hogan on pedal steel. I wish I was on that session!!

Don't know how I missed this. The Proclaimers also did a cover of " MY OLD FRIEND THE BLUES" Gerry played a stunning break on that also. Definitely worth a listen. Donny.

Sorry Roy I dont have a link for that, it's on you tube but there is no steel break only backing. When I first heard it I phoned their management and asked who who was playing steel and they told me it was Gerry, so f
