Leg/pedal rack bag

I'm looking at lightweight split case options, this looks like it might make a decent pedal rack/leg bag. 86cm is cutting it fine but I might take a punt (my pedal rack is 85cm). The zips and handles are usually the weakest links.

What do you guys think? Anyone had any luck with a light but tough split case, from the sporting goods world or otherwise? Shoulder strap is pretty important.

Johnathan, a couple of the guys coming back from the Dallas Steel Show, went to Walmart and bought rifle covers for the pedal rack and legs to bring back steels to get them under the 50lb or 23kgs weight allowance.

Well I went for the rod bag, good value I think. Perfect size for legs, rack and a few accessories. Light padding, good zips and well stitched strap. I can see it lasting for a while although it's not designed for that weight. I see the price has gone up four quid in the last week for some reason.

Anyway I thought I'd recommend it for anyone interested.

Nice one Jon, this is a good shout. Definitely a good option for folks trying to save a bit of weight lugging their steels about.

Not sure if they would let you take this on a plane as hand luggage though??
