This is a really good and a lot different than the last one, you can tell in this one when a player stops and a new player starts. In the last one if you did not look at the screen and see the pictures change it was difficult to pick out the change over. Please take note I am not critisizing anyone I think the two videos are 1st class, I just think with the 2nd one you can hear changes more easily. I think I should stop before I get into trouble. Well done to all involved. Regards, Donny.

Mmm - I can hear the very distinctive change of player. It's just that the tone of player's and their guitar don't collate with the list towards the end. I've received a couple of player's feedback in time windows which are much easier to follow. I'm happy to hand the reins over to anyone else who wants to have a go at matching up the photos with the sound clips. They're not as easy as it looks when the time frame is short.

ZakTF wrote:Ken, I think the photos and audio come out of sync at around 3:38. The pinch harmonic part where Steven's photo appears is actually me playing, and then my photo comes up briefly at 3:48, but I believe this is Mick playing. And then at 3:53, Steven's photo appears again on my pinch harmonic part. Then finally at 4:15 my photo appears, but I believe this is Dave N's part. I did notice on first watch/listen, but as the rest of the video seems to be in sync, I though I'd wait to see what others say.

The sync shifts a little earlier than that. I mentioned this to Ken via PM but I'll say it here for reference.

The video is perfect, I believe, up until my side of Link1. I come in at 3:05 up until 3:13, with some Mid Table Evostik League, Randy Beavers style playing  . Dave Nash's photo continues to run a bit longer in this spot. Then I believe Mick Hearn comes back in on console steel which has my photo showing.

I don't come back in until the end at 4:15 until 4:20 which currently has a better looking mug on.

Should be an easy fix. Don't sweat it.
Kind Regards, Steven Hicken Jr.

If everyone is agreeable and Ken can send me an MP3 I will give airtime on FRH Radio.

While I am on the subject my daughter is nagging me for more steel guitar music on the rotation. This is a good time to get yourself heard so if you have anything that comes up to standard please submit via our web site at frhradio.uk .Submission details are on the page. (Dave Hartley I know you have loads)

And don't forget my swing show at 10.30pm on Saturdays and 7pm on Sunday as well as repeats at other times of the week. Some good artists and swing steel playing.

Gents, I’ll have a go today at pulling this all together today, and I’ll send you all MP4s until you are happy with the end product. Zak - please PM me your email address as yours is the only one I don’t have, and I’ll start work today. My humble apologies folks, this will be my last foray into this concept. It's not particularly an easy project for me at the moment.

Cheers Ken and don't worry about it.

Once the new one is on I'll be sharing it around.

Mick, for your radio show I'll try and get a couple of instrumentals from my YouTube over.

email received. Checked and answered.

A big thank you to all concerned. Not an easy task by any means and shows that we steel players can all stick together and appreciate what each other is doing. Thanks to all, it brightened up a covid.
