Here I am once again back home and feeling humbled at the amount of you guys rooting for me, it certainly brings you down to earth. When I got to my GP ( Thursday evening ) I couldn't breathe very well and my heart rate was 180 bpm. The original theory was a blood clot in my lung, modern scanning quickly ruled that out then a 2nd scan disclosed the water as Bob has described. I thank the local chemist and my own GP for the professional and speedy intervention. I had only popped in to pick up a prescription for Barbara. A 3rd scan on Monday morning gave the all clear, then it's wait until the doctor comes around, ( THESE DOCTORS ARE GETTING YOUNGER ) I was told I could go home, then after lunch I got a dose of the

and they wouldn't let me go. they told me if I could go through the rest of the day, have dinner, then wait an hour without exploding I could go home. Buttocks have never been more firmly clenched. I give thanks for our NHS who were nothing short of amazing. Cheers lads. I will keep you updated with my progress. Donny.
