Well, Lugging everything back to Blighty certainly took it out of me today. The guy driving me from the car rentals back to Dallas Fort Worth Airport lifted all of my clobber on and off his bus, which was a great help. I gave him a tip - Don't buy tights for a mermaid! - he was so grateful.

The guys in customs were very kind to me and I didn't have to pay a bean as they felt sorry for the disheveled old boy who came through their red entry door this morning. I will post some pics of the pedal reso - top & bottom - tomorrow. I must ring Ivor the Driver to see how they got on with their return home to N. Ireland.

I really could have done with Spence's private jet, but he didn't have beer on board. :D

Harry W. It is a real struggle doing airports, hire car, instruments and jet lag when you are on your own and solo like I am. I managed to keep awake during Buck Reid's seminar this year (unlike last year), and it amused Buck when I was dropping off last year. I told him to wait until he gets to my age, and he will be in the same boat if he comes to the UK. Buck was genuinely upset when I told him that it was my last Dallas trip. Unless my health dramatically improves between now and next March, I can't see me going back. :o :o
