Thanks guys! The team are pleased with the outcome and the progress she is making, her head is sore as you can imagine, not surprising since they were digging in there for 10hrs in the end! My father is in hospital at the minute so I'm heading to see her tonight. (tomorrow) I won't be back on here until after the weekend. Thanks all...

Bob, I sincerely hope all is going well, not a religious person as you know, but if the power of thought can help you have got it. If there is anything I can do to help you at this awful time just shout .

Bob, exactly what Malcolm said you know we are all here for you and your Lass. My thoughts nowhere else at this time.

We are glad the prognosis is good Bob, it's onwards and upwards now my friend and if the thoughts and good wishes of all of your friends count, then your worries will be over.
Best wishes from Margaret and I.

Bob, I don't come on here much these days, but man I'm pulling for your girl. Been through enough in my time to know it's all those you know who give others strength. So I hope that all goes well and that the trauma to you and your family is not too long and that she makes a speedy recovery. Surgery these days is nothing like it used to be, so here's hoping that all goes / went well.

I had a pm from Ron McLaren earlier asking after Rosalind... I'm sure he won't mind me sharing my reply by way of update!
Hi Bob, just wondering how your daughter is progressing, hopefully all is good.
Hi Ron, mixed blessings is the answer I guess, she did really well with the op which was almost 11 hours, the surgeon said the final bits were 'tricky' but post op she was a little brick and surprised everybody. All her functions intact though she is struggling with words but she is just taking it slow! The surgeon was very happy with the outcome and they got 75% of the tumour out, the remaining (inaccessible) 25% they will address with radiotherapy end of September, five weeks of that will not be pleasant but it has to happen, this is her biggest upset as it reflects on their capability to have a family, they lost a little lad last year they called Nathaniel who with some upset they buried in the local church yard and they were hoping for another chance but this next regime I understand may put an end to that prospect! She has been more upset about that than the whole surgery thing; bless her! She was having really bad seizures prior to the op and we all hoped they would have gone but sadly they are reoccurring however they think they will abate in time, we can but hope! She has a way to go but she is a strong little cookie ......one day at a time!
Thank you 'All' for your support it is very much appreciated! Bob

Thank you for the update Bob, not an easy one to respond to, except to say we are all still here for you and as you say "one day at a time".

Sorry, I didn't hear about your daughter until last night Bob but from our conversation she has had her operation and is now awaiting Radium Treatment. I know from what you told me that she spent eleven hours in surgery. What a daunting prospect! She must be very brave!
I know that you and your family have been through the mill and my heart goes out to you. Please rest assured that the medical profession are doing all in their power to help her make a full recovery.
You are all in my thoughts and prayes at this trying and challenging time.
God Bless!
Bill
