Just saw this, so sorry to hear this, have know Donny for more years than I care to remember, Willie Gamble and I went to Donny for lessons.Thinking of Barbara and the family.

Bad news indeed, hopefully this will only be a 'blip' and a full recovery on the cards, Ive never met him but he seems one of the 'good guys'

I met Donny a couple of times at the NESGF and he's a great guy as well as being a great player. I wish him a speedy recovery from his present health problems.

The latest from the Donny is that the pain and discomfort has been coming from fluid in the lung around the heart so they are draining to alleviate the problem, not the most pleasant but at least he doesn't have the worries of ticker problems [hopefully]
He is aware we are all rooting for him!
