Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I have been on YouTube and done what was suggested and it
works fine.
Just need to find some tab so I know where to start.

If you have a google there are countless free songs in MIDI format out there. If you download a free MIDI editor, you can get rid of any instruments you don't want. How good they will sound depends partly on how good the built-in MIDI player on your computer is. Can be very useful if you just want a chord progression to solo over.

Hi Alan,
here's a link to the dropbox link which will lead you to a fistfull of backing tracks that we used for the SSGW CD. A nice mix that should keep you sitting at your steel for a good wee while :guitar:

Hi Danny
Thanks for the link,i took 2 tracks as I don't know the others but I have a lot to be going on with now.

My problem now is finding the time to get the steel out and plug it in.

Ha, ha! I suffer from that problem myself, Alan.
Do you know you can download the original CD for free? The post, with link, is posted in the same section as the post for the backing tracks. There's some tasty playing from the guys :D
All the best!
