Way back in the sixties I was playing at Hadleigh in Suffolk when a fight kicked off. We exited stage left as all sorts of missiles were flying. In between bottles we were running on to stage, picking up a piece of gear and running back. The stage was quite high and the drummer picked up a cymbal stand and planted one of the feet square on to this blokes head. It broke the stand and all this neanderthal did was scratch his head an d looked back at the stage at which point we did a hasty exit.
I remember seeing film of Keith Richards tipping his telecaster and pushing it hard into a mans face who had jumped up on the stage. Kissing a telecaster at 20 mph is not recommended.
