I remember him being a regular on a radio programme in the 60's called Easy Beat, as was Val Doonican.
He was quite popular as he had a very original and unique style. Personally I liked him then when he was in his prime.

The steel sounds a little like an Emmons to me, so just wondering if it is Pete Haywood.

To me it does seem a little like Sarah's style, but I'd be surprised if it was her.
