John, I listened to Vern last night long after i listened to DS version, they are both brilliant, I love Vern Gosdin. Different lugs. If I had listened to them one after another and someone pick one to listen to again, DS wins.

Gotta disagree with you Donny , Twas Vern`s song and changing the lyrics to suit Dawn does not cut it for me , (can a woman ever feel love like a man?? ) Not to take anything away from the lovely Dawn.... (if Kenny ever kicks her out she can have whichever side of the bed she likes here) It put me in mind of the toon Honky Tonk Angels and the female version of that song never seemed to have the same impact to me
