Merry Christmas everyone
Thanks for a very enjoyable year back in the steel guitar fraternity.
Is it my eyesight or has my brain malfunctioned again in reading J D's comment
" I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2017, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our country great (not to imply that Great Britain is necessarily greater than any other country) and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee. "
When trying to undestand all the fancy words and translate them from J D's version of the " English language "

into the Scots vernacular that I can understand,

it was the date that I couldn' get my head round.
Do you wish us all a "GUID" New Year for the remaining days of 2017 ? Or is it that the forthcoming year we anticipate next week in the new calendar for 2018 is " No worth bothering about "?

Either way, all the very best for the festive season including the new year from "Bonnie Scotland"
Robert
