heavy equipment, the solution,

Sun Jun 17, 2012 7:53 pm

As Steel players get older, heavy equipment seems to be more and more a problem, players ditching their beloved D10's for lightweight steels etc etc but dont worry, help is at hand, now you can bring back your Session 500 or Twin Reverb with JBL's, and you dont have to replace your ZB Custom D10 with an S10 made out of balsa wood, you can forget all about expensive wheeleezee cases, or hoist lifts to get your gear into the car, the solution is simple, and im not talking about expensive, annoying, smelly roadies, who cost you a fortune in beer and kebabs, heres a couple of pics, taken as i was about to leave for last nights gig,

Good solution, me, i'm having a 112 Nashville fitted to the undrside of my wheelchair and a c6th steel fitted to the arm rest's, then you can wheel me in, plug me in, and i'm ready to go.
At this time I'm listening to the Three Hanks, if your getting into c6th, this has to be one cd to listen to, blows me away.

Well i thought that too Roy, but i couldnt be too harsh on her, as she only recently sprained her left wrist, and she does suffer chronic back pain from time to time, so i have to show a little compassion, and yes Donny, you did mention that at the Irish steel festival, several times in fact, the last time at the breakfast table, when i was throwing up,must have been something i ate? or drank? but i think that she sees being with me as a kind of challenge, a bit like white water rafting, very dangerous, but ultimately satisfying,
