Frank,
You can google the name and see them on Facebook.
They are a Glasgow band and the steel player is Forumite Malcolm McMaster a good friend of mine.

As I have pointed out to Zumbilly on numerous occasions, the name (picked prior to me joining) is after Rodney Crowell NOT RODNEY TROTTER, although the way I play it could well be.Thank you for the comments, if anyone wants to book us please get in touch as I badly need the money.Video can be seen on youtube Alcohol and Pills The Rodneys or Willin' The Rodneys. All funds received from gigs are going towards a new van, the present Reliant Robin is a bit small for us.

So you're not a Pa-lonk-a then Malcolm.

If you ever get the chance to visit Bobbe Seymour in Nashville, you will see some gold discs in his foyer from when he played with Rodney Crowell.

The Rodneys is actually a good name, and one that is memorable. The band sounds good, with an original sound.

Thank you for all the comments guys, we hope video is also going to be on Hot Country. The band is Glasgow based, but only play occasionally,as getting work for a six piece is pretty well impossible these days. The lead singer is John McIntosh, brother of singer/actress Lorraine McIntosh (ex Deacon Blue/River City etc).I seem to have the knack of picking large bands (The City Sinners-six piece, Caledonia- Blue five piece) who only play now and then, but I suppose it is better than having to play with the Karaoke outfits that seem to be getting all the work. Ken now that you are a dollar millionaire, any chance you could be our manager, and buy me a Mullen G2 and a Rittenberry? (not being greedy, just want the two)

Malcolm - You can have 2 of each. Any particular colour?

I will also buy you a Reliant Robin each. None of this sharing one van between all of you.
