I've aleady put this on Remembering British Country Bands, Amongst my collection of steel related things I ;) ;)
Found this advert for Eric's shop, ZB Guitars UK and there is a photo of a guy called Jeff Minnelli playing with
Heartfordwest from Liverpool, anybody know who he was ,is he still playing , nobody seems to know anything
about him or the band. Any help in satisfying my curiosity would be appreciated . :D
All the best, Frank. Corfu 8-) :guitar:

£1100 for an Emmons push pull. That is in the days when you could buy a semi detached home in some areas for £5K. Let no-one say that steel guitars are expensive these days when in reality they are a fraction of the real term prices of 35 - 40 years back.
Show Pro D10 (amber) 8 + 6, MSA Signature XL D10 (redburst) 9 + 6, Sho~Bud D10 (sunburst) Pro 111 8 + 6, Emmons D10 Push Pull - (black) 8+5, Zumsteel D10 (blue) 8 + 8, Hudson pedal resonator, 10 string lap steel. Telonics, Peavey & Webb amps,

Frank I do recall Jeff, seen him with Hertfordwest (think the Heartford spelling may be wrong) they would come down from Liverpool to play the Midland country club circuit, guess back in the mid/late 70s.
Im sure if he sees this post Baz Gaskell will be able to throw more light on the band and player, certainly Ronnie Bennet would def know more about him.
