Yes John, Buddy Cage is superb.
I did not post the Moony playing as a comparison to other players since pedal steel is in the ear of the beholder.
I have heard many licks and solos which I think are outstanding, sometimes the simplicity of a solo which is pretty easy to replicate is impossible to master.
Think of Dan Dugmore with Linda In Blue bayou, Tom Brumley with Owens on together again. I could go on and on.
