Slimbo tells me Jimmy managed to write his car off yesterday in a road traffic accident, I hope Jimmy and his wife soon recover from this unpleasant event, not much info but I don`t think they were too badly hurt :(

Jimmy - hope you and the missus get better soon. A dislocated elbow is no fun. Did you have any gear in the car? I had a bad prang once hitting a tree head on (on the way to a gig), and the only damage to my gear was a bent mike stand. That was despite the car being completely written off.

Thanks guys for all your kind words,it`s great to have friends you have never met.Ken i was taking a MSA S10 to Weston to trade ,and i have no idea where it is or if it`s ok , we left the M5 on juction 21 there was a car parked on the left hand side of the slip way about half way up but i could not move out to pass because of traffic coming up on the right and as i started to slow down to wait for a place to pull out this car came hurtling up the slipway with the lorry right up it`s rear end,the car swerved to miss us but because the lorry was too close to stop in time we took full impact up the rear and ended up over the embankment,we were both knocked out on impact , and it took over an hour to cut my poor Pat free. somehow I managed to crawl up the bank to the ambulance then of to hospital,Pat turned up about an hour later.I thank the lord for taking care of us,the fireman said we were very lucky to be alive and survive without having too serious injuries. Thanks once again guys for all of your kindness and God Bless You All.
