It is rather disappointing as there is a wealth of experience out there that could be shared and lets face it, the steel guitar is fading into oblivion. For those struggling, questions could be asked and answers could be given. It took Dave Hartley to announce the death of one steely who I knew from the early days. There are other names such as John Finlay etc in the East Anglian area, and we hear very little from the London steelies although they meet.
I make no excuses for putting tracks up on the various media, as I don't gig with steel and that is the only audience I have. I for one would like to hear more from others.
