Renting a steel?

Hey folks I'm a steel player from the US jumping across the pond to visit. As it happens the guy that I usually play for here in Arkansas has a few shows around England and Germany. I'll be visiting my girlfriend in London and want to jump on a show or maybe a couple shows with him. Is there anyone in London that rents out pedal steels? I know that may be kind of a ridiculous question. Not looking for anything fancy I'm a simple player. I'd probably bring my pedals and bars and things but I'm trying to not lug my pedal steel around for a month of visiting Europe for the first time! Thanks for any and all advice!

I'm playing a Sierra extended E9 4 and 5 but I had previously considered bringing over my ZB custom 3 and 2. I had it in mind to post those and my shobud on this forum to see if I could sell it for a fair price and cover its travel but it's a little too late now. I've never flown with a steel before. Never had a problem with guitars but I definitely don't want to be dragging the beast around since only playing a few shows. Today I noticed a place called Matt Snowball that has an Emmons for hire and I'll give them a call in the morning. I'm curious about the prices. Should have been a fiddle player!

I am sure Matt will be glad to help you,the guitar he has is a Red Le grande and the set up is same as Jimmy Day ,

Thanks John. I have all of the show dates now so I'm going to email Matt. I play an Emmons set up but maybe I could fake it.
