I donated to the fundraising, it looks pretty interesting and refreshingly focusses on the newer generation of players. Good to see Spencer represented. Think it deserves support.

I don't agree with the "save the steel" thing, I don't see it as going away. But that's just marketing.

Very interesting Jonathan. Lots of names to look out for, that I hadn't heard of. Crowdfunding's an excellent concept, my youngest son's used it to put on a play/musical at the Edinburgh Fringe. It's great to see it being used to promote the steel. Definitely worth a trip to the tip jar.

Nice one Joe. I'm a little surprised at the apathy towards this film, here and on the US forum. Not totally surprised but... I dunno, as a player and enthusiast I will support any kind of book, tv show, YouTube channel, podcast or documentary to do with steel guitar. Regular guitarists are spoilt for this stuff but we're starved of it. Along come two self-starter documentaries and there's little more than a shrug in the community.
