I did know that Dave was moving back to the mainland as there was little music work available on the island, and what is there is seasonal. I was told that Dave was coming over shortly to do a gig in Wiltshire. The last time I played with Dave was at the local Roddington Forge, and he told me that he was more into rock climbing than steel playing. He said that his steel had been in its case, untouched for ages as there was little work about.

I do hope that Dave makes it back to Southampton as he is an excellent musician.
