My old friend - I miss him

Here is a picture of my long time friend Maurice Anderson. We had known each other since the mid 1970's, and I took this photo of him a year before his untimely passing. He was a giant of the instrument, and was highly respected by many of the top players of all time. He used to make a fuss of my wife when we met up, and my wife used to get on really well with Reece's mother who I believe is still alive. My trips to Dallas are not the same now, and I miss the guy more than I can say. He was simply a genius.

Well said Ken, he always had time to talk, had dinner with him many times and a few others.The last show that he played at the Dallas steel show was fantastic
something I shall always remember.We lost a great entertainer.Reece,s mother will be 102 this month.
