An outstanding amp!

I procured a 110v one and bought a transformer from 'Antrim' ........ The transformer arrived in a plain brown box, four wires, red, yellow, black & white and no diagram.

After asking around I contacted a guy in the south of Ireland who had apparently 'done the job previously'.... he said, Jings! (or a word similar!) ..... It's been a long time!! .. I 'tink the red goes to the !!!! ..& etc, etc.
I said what happens if that's not right? he said .. ach! sure it just blows up! .... Absolutely true story BTW!..... Fortunately Davie Holland remembered and all was well!

The Nashville 1000 is a fabulous amp, crystal clear with mega punch however its robust cabinet and 15" black widow make it a 'muscular challenge' .........had it been a tad lighter I would still have it.

I do still have a Session 2000 which now has a 15" telonics, is housed in flight case material and can be tossed in the air!....well almost!..... It is proving to be a great recording amp! Sooopah!

Also still have a cherished Session 500 (The Cadillac! as Peavey called it) The classic steel amp which never lets you down but you need the fire service to lift it!

Back to the thread! The Nashville 1000 is certainly worth upwards of £500 IMHO!
