Postby Jimmy Gibson » Sun Nov 14, 2010 1:14 pm

Playing away last night and really enjoying playing this nice little Sho-Bud PRO 1 i had just got from Eddie, and just my bad luck , the left knee lever cowl decided to give way on me and went and snapped, leaving me without my E`s up lever :o ,it`s a good job i had a spare at home,i put it on,and guess what? it happened again, not another knee lever but the bell crank that the left knee lever linking rod is connected to went and snapped off at the top, :cry:i was not a happy chappy, but it`s all sent to try us,and it dose. :D

Last year I worked on Roy’s LDG Jimmy (not on these parts I may add) but it was all ready to go and I decided to play it the day before travelling south. Guess what landed at my feet! So you can also guess where the rest of the day went! He now has the substantial solid alloy version! These are the timing belts of the Buds!!! And need replaced at 50k miles!

Sorry to hear that Jimmy, and only four or five weeks after me having the same problem on the same guitar, but glad ou like the bud, have to say, the ZB sounded superb last night, on its maiden voyage in my hands, the singer commented that 'it just has THAT sound' i knew exactly what he meant, it cuts through, but has great depth in the tone, i just need the pedals and levers set up to my copedent,

Well done Eddie,i did tell you the ZB was a superb sounding guitar, and i`m sure you will be able to change the set up,and yes the Bud sounded great on Sat and last night ,and it`s a good job i got a few spare parts for a Bud,and it goes in the back of the car set up that makes it even easier to load.
