buying, selling, using paypal

just as a note of interest, when selling an item on ebay, you will be charged a percentage by paypal, as quite often ebay stipulates you have to use paypal, as well as having to pay your listing costs, but only the seller incurs these costs, not the buyer,ok, but by selling your steel related items on this site, if the buyer wants to use paypal as a means of payment, which is by far the handiest method when dealing between sterling and the euro,as it automatically gets converted, if the buyer sends his payment as a 'GIFT' [you are given that option] then i believe that the recipient incurs no charges, :guitar:

As I understand it, it is only if you have money in your PayPal account that there is no charge for the GIFT option - otherwise either the sender or the recipient has to pay.
