Yes , well done chaps, I dont really know Gerry, but of course know his work, BJ got me started on the steel during a Billie ray Martin Tour, and i ended up Taking over the seat 3 years later.

I would like to say congratulations to you both. I think I have only ever spoken to BJ Cole on the phone, he kindly stepped in on a gig in the London area that I couldn't make and he was only too pleased to do so. I know he has been the session man in the London area for many years. Gerry of course has done so much for the PSG too and this is truly well deserved. I will never forget the times I visited the Newbury shows and had the pleasure to play there as well. I think it was Hall Rugg topping the bill the last time I went and that has always stuck in my mind. I have often thought of organizing a festival of steel, once a year like Gerry did, I may still do it one day. Not forgetting Gerry's shop too, it only ever takes one call for anything and it's there with you the next day. I hope to see you in Ireland Gerry, to shake your hand, and buy you a drink. There are the other players in the list too which I would also like to say congratulations to also. You know how I feel about Lloyd, he should be president of the USA !

I am really looking forward to Ireland. Myself and Fran both love coming there, I call it the mini Dallas. If anyone has not been, just book your cheap flight to Dublin, grab a taxi to Bettystown and get away for the weekend. You will love it.
