With respect I ask why the post "In appreciation for Ken Byng" was locked?
I started this thread to register My appreciation for Ken and to recognise His contribution to this forum.
The posts which followed showed that Ken is held in High esteem by other members,
The post was not to take sides or speculate on why Ken had decided to leave our Forum,I apologise if it did.
Perhaps We could follow the way the U.S.Forum operates when a topic is closed b0b gives a brief reason why the post was locked.

The reason was simple Billy, our respect for Ken is not in question, the debate over the post has been running since Monday morning, and last but not least, Ken, when he emailed me said he wouldn't be visiting the forum and indicated he would not be reading replies anyway.. With much respect to all it is time to move on... Hope there are no typos on this as I'm sending this from my phone and on the boat to Larne..such is the concern for the forum and its members.
