A few days ago Stewart rang me and said he was playing at the "Musician" in Leicester, so last night (Wednesday) I went down to see him and what a great night in spite of there being so few people there. Stewart was playing his Excel D10 and I have to say he certainly knows his way around that back neck. Hannah, Stewart's daughter sang a great variety of songs including Swing and traditional country and one or two bluesy type numbers and boy can she sing. The whole show was really tight a very tasty drummer, fantastic lead guitar player and the bass player, was something else, considering he is a jazz player. (upright bass.) All in all a great night and real ale to go with it. No where near enough country in Leicester. Now I'm off to Skipton for a week. See ya!
